AUPP to air four programmes on Tunisian tourism
Four TV programmes on Tunisian tourism will be broadcast on the network of the Arab Union of TV Program Producers (AUPP), which gathers over 70 Arab satellite channels, 15 international channels and 2,500 websites.

This decision was made during a working session held between Secretary of State in charge of Tourism Slim Chaker and AUPP Secretary-General on the sidelines of the Colloquium on Inter-Arab Tourism held, last April 20-21 in Sharm Sheikh, in Egypt.

Chinese loan to finance investment projects in Tunisia
A Chinese official expressed his country's readiness to finance projects in Tunisia in return for Tunisia's offering greater facilities to Chinese investors.

Trade and Tourism Minister Mehdi Houas reviewed, during a working session held Thursday in Tunis with China's Deputy Trade Minister Fu Ziying, prospects for investment projects in Tunisia. He suggested their financing as part of the Chinese-African partnership mechanism.

Tunisia expects five percent growth of farming sector.
Tunisia is expecting a 5% growth in agricultural sector this year, if good weather conditions continue, said Agriculture and Environment Minister Mokhtar Jellali.

This result will generate new job and exports opportunities, on the one hand, and reduce imports, on the other.
